THE MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM OVERALL
CARING FOR THIS VITAL SYSTEM - WISELY

tba, in development

If you leave a muscle set tightness in place, the rest of your body will adapt and begin to function around that.  Thus, you'll be able to function overall, but it will be based on one malfunction compensating for another.   And this will cause wear and tear and problems.

It is vital to correct any "out of balance" (painful, feeling funny, lack of strength, holding or tensing muscles, etc.) condition as soon as possible maintaining fully functional balance, called Homeostasis (Staying In High Functioning Balance).  [You should do this in all parts of life, especially stress!  You should have virtually no stress all day.]

Exercise, of course.
Increasing the strength of the "core" supporting muscles
Avoiding exceesive high impact wear and tear
Diet
Eliminating the destroyers of bone, such as colas (which cause the body to steal
calcium in order to restory pH balance)

Muscles

Joints - Smooth tissue called cartilage and synovium and a lubricant called synovial fluid cushion the joints so bones do not rub together. Strong muscles support your joints. If you don't have enough muscle, your joints take a pounding weight. Weight training exercises help build muscle and keep existing muscle and surrounding ligaments strong.
