WHICH BOOKS TO READ FIRST
There are a number of good books out there, but it is important to read them in priority order. Some are absolutely essential to a good education in life management, so they will be given a priority rating above others. You should read the prioritized (A-B) and then the asterisked books if the area is relevant. However, all the books are excellent.
(Print this page and then mark off which ones to order through the link to Amazon.com.)
THE "OVERALL" APPROACH:
I tend to like the overall approach of these book lists, though, of course, reading them by area, as listed below works for the purposes of focusing on one area at a time.
BY AREA
PHILOSOPHICAL
B2 THE ART OF HAPPINESS, Dalai Lama. One of the best.
The Power Of Now, Eckhart Tolle. Full of "transcendent truths that set us free", this is a
very popular book, that could be a classic, among those who want to have more peace
and/or enlightenment (freedom from artificial worries and stresses). To me, it seems a
bit hard to apply, but others swear by it. Take a look through it.
See the Philosophy section for additional recommendations.

CLASSICS TO READ "SOMETIME"
The Little Prince, Antoine Saint-Exupery
BIOGRAPHICAL
Benjamin Franklin: The Autobiography And Other Writings, Benjamin Franklin
The Diary of Anne Frank
Gandhi, His Life And Message For The World, Louis Fischer
Helen Keller, Dorothy Herrmann
Long Walk To Freedom, Nelson Mandela
